About Phoenix Coding Academy
Phoenix Coding Academy is a small specialty school with an educational philosophy rooted in innovation. The school offers multiple technology pathways, utilizes inquiry-based instructional design, and engages in interdisciplinary learning to create one of the first public high schools of its kind. With innovation and computer science as the focus, academic courses are integrated to offer a dynamic, relevant, and student-centered academic experience. At Phoenix Coding Academy, students receive a full high school curriculum of core academic classes and electives and an incredible four years of career and technical education (CTE) classes.
As industry and workforce needs constantly change, our students graduate prepared to enter a job market where technology and computer science skills are a fundamental requirement. Through community and industry partnerships, our school offers mentors, job-shadowing, guest instructors and workshops, and nationally recognized apprenticeship and internship experiences—many of which are paid. Our CTE courses in Software Development and Networking/Cyber Security provide opportunities for select industry certification and college dual enrollment, and prepare our students for success in both college and their careers.
