Campus Intervention Specialists

The Student Prevention Intervention Specialist (SPIS) assists in resolving conflicts and provides support to students, staff, and families through the use of restorative practices. In addition, the SPIS coordinates and helps facilitate support groups, skill-based intervention groups, and other student interventions.

The Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) works with teachers, students, and parents to complete a functional behavior assessment and develop a behavior intervention plan for ESS students with behavioral needs. The BIS provides individual and group interventions for ESS students on campus.
