AVID Strategies have been implemented in all Math, Science, Business, and Engineering/GEARS courses to equip students with better organization and higher order learning skills. AVID strategies promote advanced thinking skills to better prepare students for success in college and career.

Thinking Maps have been implemented as a visual tool in all English, Social Studies, English Language Learners, and World Language courses to help students organize thoughts and compare information. 

Academic Readiness and Character Development will be stressed in Physical Education, Health, FACS, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, and JROTC to nurture the holistic needs of every students. We believe that a schools duty is not only to deliver a top-quality education, but to believe in each student’s ability to learn and to be the very best person possible.
