As the District's NEXT students, you will make new friends and continue with old ones, make memories, explore new horizons, discover your future, and tackle new challenges.

No school district in the state offers more choices to explore. Wherever you live in the city, you can attend a school with a magnet program—we’ll provide the transportation. Learn to fly an airplane, earn your scuba certification, travel to other countries, or become a DJ at the school radio station

Hello Future PXU Students! You're about to enter the most exciting time in your life. Luckily, Phoenix Union schools are your next big opportunity! You’ll grow with new friends, new experiences, and the new freedom to explore your future and your talents.

Get ready to fill your yearbook with memories of personal accomplishments, relationships, dances, games, field trips, cool teachers, great classes, pep rallies, proms, and graduations. Jump in and take advantage of all Phoenix Union has to offer.

• Future High Schoolers, you've found the extra upgrades you can add to your high school experience! Find out what PXU has to offer and maybe add one to your high school journey.

   

• LEVEL UP with college-type classes such as Honors, Advanced Placement (AP), or our International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. Want even more EXP? We offer Dual Enrollment classes that will give you community college credit while still in high school.

• Unsure about being leveled up enough for college? Our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program is making college a reality. To make your adventure even smoother, we have more counselors per student than any other school district, and they will put you on a 4+4 Plan to map out your success, and assist you and your family in finding financial aid, grants, and scholarships.

• Through community programs like Be A Leader, Hispanic Mother-Daughter, and university and community college partnerships, you’ll learn what it takes to get to college. We’ll prepare you for the SAT and ACT college entrance exams with tutoring and workshops. Don't worry about how many coins you have in your inventory, at Phoenix Union, as a junior, you'll take the ACT for free!
