Here at Cesar Chavez our goal is to assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment on campus areas. Each staff member shall serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings.

Closed Campus

Every year, we hear of students injured or killed in auto accidents.   Accidents such as these are reminders to all of us that school is the safest place to be.  Cesar Chavez High School is a closed campus.  Students are not allowed to leave campus until the end of the school day or until parents have signed students out of school.  Parents must provide a picture ID when signing students out of school.  Students will not be released by telephone calls.  We encourage parents to know where their children are, whom they are with, what they are doing, and who is driving.  Make sure they check in with you regularly

Parking Guidelines

1. Staff and students will need to show proof of insurance, driver’s license, and vehicle registration to obtain a parking decal. The deadline to register your vehicle will be Thursday, August 07, 2014 at which time security will start citing vehicles.

2. Staff members receive a hanging decal to be displayed while on CCHS campus. Students receive a permanent decal for placement on the vehicle window.

3. Staff parking is in the 41st Avenue Parking Lot and in the South Parking Lot. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

4. Student parking is in the North Parking Lot, as is Visitors’ Parking.
