2024–2025 PXU Governing Board Goals
For the 2024–2025 school year, PXU aims to increase the number of students in the 2026 Cohort exceeding their predicted ELA ACT score in the Spring of 2025 by 3%. (Increasing from 7% to 10% compared to the previous year's cohort).
For the 2024–2025 school year, PXU aims to increase the number of Black/African American and Native American students in the 2026 Cohort exceeding their predicted ELA ACT score in the Spring of 2025 by 5%. (Increasing from 6% to 11% and increasing from 3% to 8% compared to the previous year's cohort).For the 2024–2025 school year, PXU aims to increase the number of students in the 2026 Cohort exceeding their predicted math ACT score by 3%. (Increasing from 5% to 8% compared to the previous year's cohort).
For the 2024–2025 school year, PXU aims to increase the number of Black/African American and Native American students in the 2026 Cohort exceeding their predicted math ACT score by 5%. (Increasing from 4% to 9% and increasing from 9% to 14% respectively compared to the previous year's cohort).Increase the percentage of students scoring fluent English proficient on the Spring 2025 AZELLA (Arizona English Language Learner Assessment) Reassessment by 5% (from 16% to 21%) compared to the Spring 2024 AZELLA results.
In comparison to graduating cohort 2024, increase the number of students in Cohort 2025 earning 20 or more points on College and Career Readiness Indicators (CCRI) by 10% while decreasing the number of students earning zero points by 10% for the 2024–2025 school year.
80% of schools reduce chronic absenteeism by 5% or more by the end of the 2024–2025 school year.
