Our digital filmmaking is based on a philosophy of collaboration, creativity and problem solving.

Students enrolled in this program learn the techniques and technology involved in the digital film industry and gain extensive practice developing these skills.

Bob Marquis is an award-winning director and editor. He has been helping students learn the art of digital filmmaking at Metro Tech High School since 2012.

In 2013, he was named the Arizona Filmmaker of the Year by the Phoenix Film Foundation for his impact on the Arizona filmmaking community.

In addition to guiding his Metro Tech students, he serves as the Student Education Director for the Phoenix Film Festival and IFP Phoenix, and as the Executive Director of Sailbear Labs.
