How to make a segment in INFOBASE for a class presentation
Go to the database INFOBASE and search for your topic and find the video you need
1. Make your own account
a. Username is your school email
b. Password is your student ID
2. Watch the video a couple of times to find the section you want. It should be a very short piece, maybe 15 seconds
3. Copy and paste the citation into your notes.
4. Click on SEGMENT under the video; sign in
5. Put in the start time and end time of the clip you want
6. Use a unique name so you can find it later (not the name of the video) like Smith history class
7. Under PROFILE find your video clip in MY CONTENT
8. Open the clip and copy the URL
9. Put the URL into your .ppt as is or make a hyperlink with a word in your .ppt
