How to set up your teacher station

 Need Technology Help??  Click on the following  link to submit a technology request via the District Helpdesk. This is standard procedure for obtaining assistance that is tech related. You can also call the Helpdesk directly at 41201.

Usage

Due to Virtual Learning 2020-2021 procedures will be altered when we return to campus

Attention Teachers:

Substitutes are not permitted to be in the labs or check out carts at any time with your class. If you are going to be absent, please plan to have your students remain in your classroom or plan accordingly. 

 

Students are NOT PERMITTED to have food, drink or electronic devices at their workstation. Please inform your students of this before entering the lab or using laptops.  Repeated infractions of this policy could result in loss of ability to utilize the labs.

Stationary lab spaces are shared, please be courteous of others with the noise level.

Please be courteous of others in the room and do not send your students to wait for you.  Please bring them with you or be there to greet them.

   

Please schedule up to five school days in advance and as short as 24 hours in advance. No exceptions except for CRT Testing. Maximum of 4 days/month usage. 

 

Mobile Lab Requirements:

  1. A teacher with no other computer access may reserve and  check out one cart which consists of 32 machines. They will have that cart for the entire day.

  2. Substitute teachers will not be permitted to check out laptop carts (exceptions for long-term subs).

  3. The reserved cart must be retrieved by the responsible teacher from the Computer Lab Assistant between the time of 7:30 – 8:00am. 

  4. The cart and key must be returned at the end of the school day to the same  CLA , no earlier than  the end of 7th period and no later than 3:30 by the responsible teacher .

  5. The log for daily use must be filled out completely for each class period that uses the cart.

  6. The laptops must be placed in order back into the carts. The cart laptop bays and laptops are all marked and numbered.

  7. Food, Drink or Electronic devices cannot be used by students who are using a laptop.

  8. Under no circumstances should students be given the keys to the cart.
