Network Security

The Network Security program is a foundational course leading to nearly any career in the field of Information Technology. 

Students will learn to repair, maintain, design, configure, install, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network systems.

Students learn through a variety of instruction, including hands-on computer lab activities and interactive online curriculum.

Key components of the course include:

  • CompTIA A+ professional certification preparation

  • Computer and network security

  • Operating system maintenance

  • Designing and building Local Area Networks

  • Computer and network repairs

  • Hands-on work-based projects

  • On-the-job training opportunities

  • Participate in SkillsUSA student organization

  • Community college dual-enrollment credits

Donate or Recycle Electronics

Through our partnership with AZStRUT, we accept all used computers, electronics, and related equipment. Our students refurbish used equipment to donate to local non-profit organizations and families in need. Non-functioning or obsolete items will be responsibly recycled locally by WesTech Recyclers.

Drop off hours: Monday - Friday  8:00-9:40 AM and 12:30-3:00 PM or by appointment. Thank you!
