Integrated Action Plan

MATH

GOAL: Continue to improve student achievement in math proficiency by 0.2% on the spring 2025 state assessments using high impacting teaching practices with collaborative team planning.

STEPS:

1.        Provide certified professional development opportunities, curriculum development, IAP writing, and continuous collaborative team improvement, including Freshmen House, Advisory planning teams.

2.        Intervention through high dosage tutoring with HQ math certified staff after school or on Saturdays.

3.        Create and monitor Interventions in Advisory through use of Seculry Flextime manager.

4.        Use of collaborative team time to create and/or refine common formative assessments to align with a guaranteed and viable curriculum as well as state exams.

ELA

GOAL: Continue to improve student achievement in ELA by 0.2% on spring 2025 state assessments using effective high impact teaching practices with collaborative team planning.

STEPS:

1.        Use of AVID classes, AVID tutors and school-wide AVID strategies to increase literacy achievement on ACT exams.

2.        Intervention through high dosage tutoring with ELA HQ certified staff after school or on Saturdays.

3.        Additional off-site (conferences) professional development for ELA certified staff.

4.        Use of supplemental instructional software to increase literacy skills. (AlbertlO, No Red Ink, Magic schools)

PARENT INVOLVEMENT

GOAL: Increase parent involvement and campus connectedness activities by one per quarter by increasing communication through tech applications and staff.

STEPS:

1.        Use of supplemental software to increase communication like Remind.

2.        Freshmen House Coordinator and Student Success Coordinator hosting 9th grade parent meeting and Future Freshmen Night meetings.

3.        Use of Link Crew to increase campus connectedness. Offsite training for staff.
