eBooks & eAudiobooks

Use these online resources when you are in need of digital materials for academic and personal use. When working on school computers, there is automatic access to the PUHSD databases. Usernames and passwords may be required when trying to access the databases remotely. Visit the Hayden Library for all the login information required for remote access to the PUHSD databases. 

EBSCO provides PUHSD students with free access to thousands of eBooks. On the EBSCO Databases website, select  "EBSCOhost Web" then choose the "eBook Collection" database.

GVRL - Gale Virtual Reference Library provides PUHSD students with unlimited access to hundreds of high quality reference eBooks.

 Phoenix Public Library - eLibrary - with your library card from the Phoenix Public Library (PPL), you have free access to thousands of digital materials like eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMusic, eMagazines, eNewspapers, and eVideos. You can even get your eLibrary Card online. Look at the handout below for directions on using the PPL digital resources.

LibriVox offers free access to public domain audiobooks. 

The Open Library has over 1,000,000 free eBook titles available, including classic literature.      

Project Gutenberg offers thousands of free eBooks.
